Before proposing a new building for the CSF, we decided to value the criteria that the Architect Emilio Duhart (author of the original project) designed for the missing work. To summarize, we quote a fragment from an interview about the whole college planning: “… what I was interested in doing , were not buildings with character, but a whole set with character … ”

We understand the new building for the FCQ as a piece within a larger system, where the real focus was the definition of public space. The generation of a controlled space between the buildings and geography is the challenge of the request; define the proportion of these relationships that are capable of containing human action (sensory area) is what interests us. The architectural object, such as self-absorbed piece, we are not interested in, the work takes the true value when is able to contain the public space, gives the measure.
